PDP blames ruling party for leadership crisis
The opposition party made the comments in a communiqué issued at the end of a stakeholders meeting in Akure.
The peoples democratic party (PDP) in Ondo State has said that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is behind its leadership crisis.
The Ondo PDP also said that the APC is supporting factional chairman, Ali Modu-Sheriff.
The opposition party made the comments in a communiqué issued at the end of a stakeholders meeting in Akure, the state capital.
“We condemn emphatically the desperate politics that the APC has continued to prosecute in the nation,” National Vice Chairman (PDP South West), Eddy Olafeso said.
“It’s penchant for undermining institutions, compromising elections and also the sponsorship of crisis in our party by clandestinely providing logistic support to the Sheriff group,” he added.
The meeting was also attended by former PDP Deputy National Chairman (South), Bode George.
