5 Natural Remedies for Unrelenting Mouth Odour

Image
Everyone’s breath kicks up once in a while. It could be because you just woke up, or because you have not eaten all day. Other times it is because you consumed something that made your breath sour, such as cigarettes, alcohol, onions, garlic e.t.c. But when your breath is bad ALL THE TIME.. it becomes a problem –especially if you are the sensitive type. Not only is it embarrassing, it takes a toll on your confidence…and even worse, could make you a pariah – as most people may avoid talking to you for fear of suffocating from your mouth odour. When mouth odour becomes unrelenting, it usually is no longer the case of bacteria building up on the back of your tongue or between your teeth. Grabbing a piece of gum or using a mouth spray does not cut it anymore, as it can no longer mask the problem. It is not advisable to leave things to chance; instead, try some home remedies or visit a dentist to check for underlying medical conditions. If you are interested in th...

Between the ‘choppers’ and ‘lookers’ in Buhari administration

Image
As the Muhammadu Buhari administration clocks two in office tomorrow, its achievements or absence of it is a matter of the level of impact the administration has made in the lives of people in their individual capacities. While some Nigerians say it was in the current Buhari administration that their “economic tap began to run” many others believe that they have had it tough and rough in the last two years. Recently, association of party chairmen of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from all the 36 states of the federation complained bitterly over the manner of appointments by the president. Among other grievances they tabled before the national leadership of the party was the principle of “monkey de work baboon dey chop” kind of reward system adopted by the President. They were particularly miffed at the pattern of appointment that excessively rewards some families more than necessary. They said it was wrong for the president to be appointing two or three me...

The restoration of a New Constitutional Order in Nigeria Under Buhari

By: Sanmi S. OlaA friend drew my attention to something profound that I had taken for granted. He said, “have you noticed that more people than before now queue up at the ATM to make withdrawals? I know you’ll say it is the cashless policy at work but my conviction is that the lower economic class now have more access to money under President Buhari even though people are lamenting about hardship because they have not even realized how much has changed. ”Upon giving it some thoughts I concluded that my friend was right in several regards. President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration has changed a lot of things even when as citizens we do not realize how much has changed because the revolution has been gradual as opposed to being dramatic and disruptive. He has implemented a departure from the norms without making any noise about it, while those who do not have the insight to appreciate what is happening channeled focus to his health, a natural event that can bef...

Year 2019 and the Search for the Nigerian President, By Majeed Dahiru

Image
As 2019 approaches, Nigerians must begin to look beyond APC’s Muhammadu Buhari for good governance, progress and prosperity. The bar and standard of the quality of leadership must be raised above ethno-religious sentiments to pragmatic solutions to our problems as a nation. One lesson learnt is that the old order of power struggle…has not paid off the intended beneficiating sections of the country. In a few days the Muhammadu Buhari administration will be two years old. following the historic elections that swept an incumbent president, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan out of power and reduced the majority of the former ruling PDP to a minority in the National Assembly, Nigerians were fully mobilised for a change in approach to governance that would hopefully transform our collective misfortune to progress and prosperity.Unfortunately, the mid-term score card of the first four-year mandate of the Muhammadu Buhari presidency, records a disappointingly low performance in most critical as...
