A young lady has been arrested for allegedly stabbing her friend in the neck over a man. According to reports, the attacked woman reported to be pregnant, was stabbed by her friend identified as Ludivin Kamga over her relationship with the man whom the suspect is said to be in love with. The shocking incident happened few days ago at Bafoussam in the Western Region of Cameroon.

A popular gay teenager identified as Lesley Flavour, was reportedly stabbed to death by unknown assailants close to his house in Cameroon. According to No Strings, the 19-year-old gay man was murdered on Friday 26 at about 9 p.m between a narrow entrance to his house. The gay teenager who was in his final year at Heights College and usually attend some extra classes on Fridays and Saturdays which started from 4 p.m and lasted till about 8 p.m, was on his way from school when he was robbed and then stabbed to death. While there are doubts on if his murder was connected to his sexuality, however close friends who knew him said that he was a very gentle young man claimed he was still very much in the closet.

The Presidency has on Sunday, October 28th, said it is an indication of idleness on the part of PDP and other Nigerians, to complain about Buhari not presenting his certificates to INEC. Ogun State police command yesterday arrested a 42-year-old web designer, Abiodun Amosun, for raping his 16-year-old housemaid. The web designer who was arrested following a complaint lodged at Ibara Police Division by the Benue State born victim who was accompanied to the station by a member of Committee for the Defence of Human Rights (CDHR), committed the crime on October 25, at the family’s house at the Government Reservation Area (GRA),Ibara, Abeokuta, Ogun State, while his wife was away in Lagos. According to the rape victim, the suspect who dragged her into his bedroom and raped her, assaulted and sent her out of the house after she started making noise following the rape act. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC Kaduna Zonal office has investigated a case of conspiracy and theft reported to the Commission by an exceptional father. The father (name witheld) in April 2017 became a whistle blower after his son (then a secondary school student) intimated him that he had bought a house and a shop valued over N2 Million (Two Million Naira) only. The information of the purchase shocked the father beyond his imagination as such he decided to make a formal complain to the Commission having perceived signs of fraud from his son’s explanantion of how he got the money. The Police in Calabar, Cross River State capital, have arrested a female Swiss Gold Ponzi scheme operator over N1 billion fraud collected from investors. The suspect, identified as Lizzy Efa was nabbed as she attempted to cross into neighbouring Cameroon in hope of absconding. It was learnt that Mrs. Efa was taken to Calabar after her arrest at the border between Nigeria and Cameroon in Bakassi. The investors stormed the Zone 6 Police Headquarters, Calabar, demanding that the matter be transferred to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, to avoid bias, because they believe that she has been arrested before and nothing was done. One of the investors, a petroleum dealer, Mr. Justus Austin, disclosed that he has lost N11.6m to the scheme. Officials of the Anambra State Government yesterday arrested a mentally-challenged and a Sum of N200,000 was found in possession. Southern City News learnt that the woman, said to be in her 50s and always seen around Aroma Junction in Awka, the state capital, was arrested by government officials with the intention to take her to a mental home in the state. A government source, who pleaded anonymity, disclosed that the officials approached the woman and led her into their van, but she protested that she would not leave behind her properties. The source said, “So, the officials told her they would not carry all the waste she referred to as properties, but she should take anything that was most valuable to her. The Nigerian Senate has passed a resolution calling on the Central Bank of Nigeria to suspend the ATM card maintenance charges being deducted from customers’ accounts per month. They also called on commercial banks to configure their machines to dispense up to N40,000 per withdrawal. The Senate revealed the motion via a tweet @SPNigeria. This resolution came as part of a motion on the illicit and excessive bank charges on customers accounts, sponsored by Senator Olugbenga Ashafa, representing Lagos East. Five people have reportedly lost their lives as they were struck by thunder during a downpour, yesterday, in Cross River State. The quite tragic incident is said to have occurred at the popular Utanga market in Utanga community, Obanliku LGA of Cross River State. According to reports, the victims included two females and three males – the thunder also left its impact on a tree close to the stall where the tragedy occurred. Earlier this month, at least 23 cows were reportedly killed in Ekiti State following the deafening thunder which was accompanied by a downpour recorded in parts of the state at the time. The incident, which took place at Okeowa Eluju, a farmstead in Iloro-Ekiti, Ijero Local Government Area of the state, caused apprehension among local residents. Confirming the incident, a Fulani herder and owner of the dead cows, Abdulkadri Kadiri, said he was devastated by the development. According to NAN, Kadiri described the incident as a strange occurrence.

A notorious cultist and ex-convict,  Ibrahim Oriyomi Balogun  otherwise known as Small Jaypron has been reportedly killed in a cult clash that broke out in Somolu yesterday. According to reports on social media,  Small Jaypron  who is a renowned thug, cultist and ex-convict was shot in the neck during the cult clash around the Somolu environs yesterday, He was once  arraigned  sometime in 2016 for charges bordering on murder, possession of firearms and belonging to a cult and was remanded in prison. According to the  RRS  ;  ‘we are still at the scene of rival cult clash in Shomolu. The situation is calm and normal social and business activities have resumed. Many arrests have been made.
