"Between now and July, this country will smile," Pastor predicts

The General Overseer of Faith Assembly Prophetic Ministry Incorporated says the economic recession will be over soon, do you believe him?

Prophet (Bishop) Onyeke Onyeke has made a prophetic statement concerning the economic recession in the country.

According to the General Overseer of Faith Assembly Prophetic Ministry Incorporated, Nigeria's challenge will be over between now and July, Naija Church News reports.

Speaking at his 48th year birthday celebration held at Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, the Man of God said: "What we are passing through today, I said it. I said it that this country, there will be recession and after then, there will be joy. And I think any moment from now, there will be joy. March, April, May, June and July, there will be smile in this country.”

” I’m not proud, but I believe people speak for me. There was no way for me to let the world know of the prophecy then. I just made the announcement that this is what the Lord said and this is what is going to happen. Even as I’m talking to you right now, between now and July, this country will smile.”

He also had some advice for pastors and the church.

Prophet Onyeke said, ”We Christians should not go against or hate ourselves. We should not correct each other outside while there are enemies. The church must come together so that whatever we say we hold.”

For fellow preachers, he urged them to stop preaching “prosperity” and start talking about "prophecy, deliverance, and salvation.”

Concerning President Muhammadu Buhari and his message of change, he advised everyone to stop blaming him, adding that God knows what He is doing.

In his words, "We cannot just give up. This is God’s own regime and not Buhari’s regime.

God is aware that Buhari will be there and God is aware that Buhari is there."
